A 90-acre park with plenty of outdoor entertainment, Roeding Park offers horseshoe pits, dance pavilions, eight championship tennis courts and numerous playgrounds and picnic areas. The pretty, regional park features lush green lawns, picturesque flower gardens and serene lakes which offer paddle, motor and row boat rentals. Animal lovers should check out Fresno Chaffee Zoo, located on site, offering up-close interaction with Red-tailed lemurs, a Malayan tiger or a Keel-billed toucan. Located northwests of downtown Fresno, the park lies just over three miles from Meux Home Museum.
