Over one hundred species of animals can be found at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo, including 18 animals on the Species Survival Plan, which exists to help reintroduce endangered animals into their native environments. Some of these animals that can be found at the zoo are the Malayan tiger, addax, scimitar-horned oryx and red ruffed lemur. The zoo offers regular feedings and animal demonstrations with its sea lions, birds of prey and giraffes, as well as others. It is located in Roeding Park a few miles northwest of downtown Fresno.
Open daily, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Adults $7; Children (2-11) and Seniors (62+) $3.50. Cars $3.
